Azent Delivery Time Slots (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Shopify application that allows merchants to offer delivery or pickup date and time selection during checkout. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect merchant and customer data when you install or use the App.

1. Information We Collect

When you install or use the App, we may collect the following data:

Merchant Data

  • Shopify store domain
  • Store locale and timezone
  • App configuration and settings
  • Delivery configuration (enabled/disabled options)

Order & Checkout Data

  • Delivery date
  • Delivery time
  • Delivery notes (if enabled)
  • Order ID and checkout ID

Customer Data

  • No personally identifiable customer data (such as name, email, or address) is collected by default.
  • If delivery information is attached to an order, it is stored only as part of the order metadata.

Google Calendar Integration Data

  • If a merchant enables Google Calendar integration, we may access the merchant’s connected Google account email address, available calendar list, selected calendar ID, and the tokens required to maintain the connection.
  • We may also store Google Calendar event identifiers and sync status information for order-related events created by the App.

2. How We Use the Data

We use collected data strictly to:

  • Display delivery or pickup time options during checkout
  • Validate required delivery information
  • Save delivery details to the order
  • Provide app functionality and support
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • List calendars, allow merchants to select a target calendar, and create, update, delete, or test order-related Google Calendar events when the merchant has enabled that integration

We do not use data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.

3. Google User Data

Google user data is accessed only after the merchant explicitly connects Google Calendar and grants permission. We use that access only to support the requested calendar integration features. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it for unrelated purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS or equivalent).
  • Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • All data transmissions are encrypted using HTTPS.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third parties. Data may be shared only if required:

  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our legal rights
  • With Shopify, as required for app functionality
  • With Google, only as required to provide the Google Calendar integration requested by the merchant

6. Data Retention

Delivery-related data is retained only as long as the merchant keeps the app installed. Upon app uninstallation, all associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe.

If Google Calendar integration is disconnected, related connection data and tokens are deleted or invalidated within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for security, audit, or legal purposes.

7. Merchant Rights

Merchants have the right to:

  • Access their stored data
  • Request correction or deletion of data
  • Uninstall the app at any time
  • Disconnect Google Calendar at any time
