Azent Labs Shopify Apps — Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Shopify applications published by Azent Labs (each, an “App”). It explains how we collect, use, store, and protect merchant and customer data when you install or use an App.

1. Information We Collect

When you install or use the App, we may collect the following data:

Merchant Data

  • Shopify store domain
  • Store locale, timezone, and business settings where needed for the App
  • App installation, configuration, subscription, and support information
  • Technical and security information needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the App

Store, Order, and Customer Data

  • Only the Shopify data an App is authorized to access and needs to provide its features
  • Examples may include product, cart, order, checkout, or customer-related identifiers and feature-specific data
  • The exact data used by an App depends on its features, Shopify permissions, and merchant configuration

Third-Party Integration Data

  • If a merchant enables an optional third-party integration, we process the account, authorization, and service data needed to provide that integration
  • We disclose the purpose of an integration and request the relevant authorization before it is connected

2. How We Use the Data

We use collected data strictly to:

  • Provide app functionality and support
  • Authenticate merchants and maintain app settings
  • Process subscriptions and fulfill merchant requests
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • Operate an integration explicitly enabled by the merchant

We do not use data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.

3. Third-Party Integrations

An App may offer optional integrations with third-party services. We access and use data from an integration only after the merchant enables it and only to provide the requested feature. We do not sell integration data, use it for advertising, or use it for unrelated purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS or equivalent).
  • Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • All data transmissions are encrypted using HTTPS.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third parties. Data may be shared only if required:

  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our legal rights
  • With Shopify, as required for app functionality
  • With service providers that help us host, secure, operate, or support the Apps, subject to appropriate safeguards
  • With an optional integration provider only when the merchant enables that integration

6. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed to operate the relevant App, comply with Shopify privacy requirements, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, or enforce our agreements. Following uninstallation or a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize applicable data within the required timeframe, unless we must retain it by law.

7. Merchant Rights

Merchants have the right to:

  • Access their stored data
  • Request correction or deletion of data
  • Uninstall the app at any time
  • Disconnect optional integrations at any time
